Originally from Toronto and now based in San Francisco, Mackenzie Sharp creates work rooted in the California coast. Her 'Water Series' incorporates physical sand collected from the specific beaches depicted in each piece, turning the landscape itself into a medium across her watercolors and repurposed surfboards.
